Frequently asked questions
I cannot sign in.
First check your email address and password for typos, including upper and lower case. If it still does not work, or you see the message “account deactivated”, send us an email.
Who can see my location?
By default, nobody. After registration you are invisible. You switch visibility on yourself and decide who can see you (everyone, friends only or specific groups) and how precisely (exact or approximate only). One tap on the switch and you are invisible again at any time. Details are in the privacy policy.
How do I delete my account?
Currently by email: write from your registered address to judihuy@proton.me with the subject “Delete account”. We will delete your account and data promptly, usually within 30 days, and confirm the deletion. A deletion feature directly in the app is in the works.
Does TruckPin cost anything?
During the test phase, TruckPin is free of charge. The map, parking reports and the emergency function will remain free afterwards. A subscription via this website is planned for certain additional features later on.
How can I join the test phase?
TruckPin is currently in a closed test phase. If you are a truck driver and would like to take part, send us a short email. We will get back to you as soon as places become available.
I want to report or block a user.
Directly in the app: open the user's profile, then choose “Report” or “Block” from the menu in the top right corner. Reported cases are reviewed. In urgent cases you can also reach us by email.
