Try TruckPin

TruckPin is in open testing – anyone can join for free. No sign-up, no waiting list: download the app, register, drive. Below you'll find how it works on your phone.

Which phone do you have?

Android: install the app directly

On Android you can install TruckPin right away – no sign-up, no waiting. Tap the button, download the app and install it. Then register in the app: e-mail address and a password (at least 8 characters) – an invitation code is optional.

If Android warns you: “allow unknown apps”

Because the app doesn't (yet) come from the Play Store, Android asks once. That's normal and done in four steps:

  1. Open the link. The file downloads – then tap Open or Install.
  2. If “For your security, you can't install unknown apps from this source” appears, tap Settings.
  3. Turn on “Allow from this source”.
  4. Go back and tap Install. Done.

If Google Play Protect warns you

If Google Play Protect shows “App blocked to protect your device”, that's normal – because TruckPin isn't in the Play Store yet. It's not dangerous:

  1. Tap “More details”.
  2. Then tap “Install anyway”. Done.

This message disappears automatically once TruckPin is in the Play Store.

When registering you finally receive a 6-digit code by e-mail – enter it and you are in. Updates will show up directly in the app from now on.

iPhone: get the app via TestFlight

On iPhone, TruckPin comes through Apple's free testing app TestFlight. It takes two minutes:

  1. Install TestFlight: get TestFlight from the App Store (free, by Apple).
  2. Open the invitation: tap the blue button below – TestFlight opens and shows TruckPin.
  3. Tap Install – the app appears on your home screen as usual.
  4. Register: enter your e-mail address and a password (at least 8 characters) in the app. You'll receive a 6-digit code by e-mail – type it in, done.

Get TruckPin on your iPhone

Updates arrive automatically through TestFlight – nothing else to do.

Invitation code – do I need one?

No – you can register without a code. If a colleague gave you one (in the app under Profile → Invite friends), enter it during registration: you'll be connected as friends right away.
