An app for truck drivers

TruckPin shows on a map which colleagues are on the road nearby and where truck parking is available. Messages between drivers are translated automatically, so everyone can write and read in their own language.

TruckPin is in open testing and free: get the app here – directly on Android, via Apple's TestFlight on iPhone. Later it will come to the App Store and Google Play.

  Shows drivers nearby, provided they have switched themselves visible. Everyone decides who can see them and how precisely.

• Navigation

  Routes that fit your vehicle – from car to 40-tonne truck. With turn instructions, automatic rerouting, and colleagues, parking and borders right on the navigation map.

• Parking

  Drivers report with one tap whether a site is free or full. Plus ratings for showers, food, safety and prices.

• Chat with translation

  Messages are translated automatically into the recipient's language. The original remains available.

• Groups and convoy

  Private groups with their own chat. In convoy mode, drivers on a shared route see each other's position and distance.

• Border waiting times

  Current reports from drivers who are at the border right now.

• Emergency

  The SOS button sends your position to confirmed friends, regardless of your visibility settings.

Location and privacy

Your location is only shared once you grant the app location permission on your phone – and a switch in the app makes you invisible at any time with one tap. Reciprocity applies: only those who show themselves see others. Only your latest position is stored; routes or movement profiles are never recorded. Details are in the privacy policy.

Pricing

During the test phase, TruckPin is free of charge. The map, parking reports and the emergency function will remain free afterwards; a subscription is planned for certain additional features later on. The app shows no advertising, and neither the app nor this website uses cookies or tracking.
